Mediation

Mediation is a process which helps parties reach partial or global agreements. In family law cases, mediation can be used to help you reach agreements on issues like child support, spousal support, child custody, child visitation, property division, attorney's fees, and any other issue that might be important to the parties. While it is not appropriate in every situation, like where domestic violence has occurred, mediation can save attorney's fees, emotional trauma, time, and the stress of having to appear in family law court.
